The Kanagawa Branch Office started out in February 1968 as a service base for industrial instruments delivered to the Kawasaki industrial complex, when the Kawasaki Resident Office was newly established. In October 2012, the company relocated to its current office in Shin-Yokohama, Kohoku-ku, Yokohama City, from the perspective of strengthening earthquake resistance standards, and it remains there to this day.
In March 2014, following the closure of the Hachioji Service Station, some of the services provided by the Medical Instruments Department were expanded to cover the Tokyo area. In October 2015, the Kanagawa Branch Office was incorporated into the jurisdiction of the Tokyo Regional Head Office following the introduction of a Regional Head Office system. As part of a review of the branch office system in April 2016, the Chiba Service Station was incorporated into the jurisdiction of the Kanagawa Branch Office from the HigashinihonRegional Head Office, and the system was changed to cover the area across Tokyo Bay as a single entity.
In April 2017, the Process Control Systems Sect. was transferred to the head office department due to business consolidation. In May 2018, the Chiba Service Station was relocated from Chuo-ku, Chuo-machi to Chuo-ku, Chuo-machi in order to improve convenience.
In March 2020, the layout was changed to accommodate the introduction of a free address system at the Kanagawa Branch Office. In January 2021, the Process Control Systems Sect was relocated from the Tokyo Regional Head Office to the Kanagawa Branch Office in order to strengthen customer support, and in April 2022, the Regional Head Office system was replaced with a 10-branch office system, and the Process Control Systems Sect and Medical Instruments Sect were newly established. At the same time, the Chiba Service Station was upgraded to the Chiba Office.
In May 2022, the Chiba Office was relocated from Chuo, Chuo-ku, Chiba City to the north exit of Chiba Station in order to make it a satellite office and consolidate the parking lot.
As of 2024, the Kanagawa Branch Office is developing services at two locations, the Chiba Office, and is responsible for the Tokyo metropolitan area, which has a large population, industrial zones, and research bases. The company also carries out service activities for a diverse range of customers in the Tokyo metropolitan area, and it aims to achieve further growth by "creating value together with customers" through customer-focused services.

The Sagamihara Campus of the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) in Sagamihara City, Kanagawa Prefecture, is equipped with scanning electron microscopes and other devices handled by the Beam Technology Systems Sect. It is also being used in the analysis of materials brought back from the asteroid Ryugu, which is a national project, and it was a valuable experience that made me feel a strong sense of pride in our work and a realization that we are contributing to Japan's space development research. From now on, all the members of the branch will work hard to become the best partner for our branch office customers.
