In light of the trend of global environmental issues such as global warming and carbon dioxide emissions becoming more serious, the Environmental Promotion Dept. was newly established within the Corporate Development Division in April 2024 as a department that coordinates with Hitachi High-Tech's environmental policies and environmental activities.
We will continue with the environmental activities that we have been working on as part of ISO 14001, and plan and promote environmental and sustainability activities that incorporate a new managerial perspective.

The Hitachi High-Tech Group has identified important issues that need to be addressed to solve social issues as the following five materiality issues , which are based on the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals), common rules and achievement targets for the international community.

We will continue to contribute to society and the environment through our business activities, which focus on “eco services” such as providing technologies that reduce the environmental impact of product operation, as well as reusing, refurbishing, and recycling parts, and through our internal environmental activities.
