Capsaicin is an important pain reliever for chronic sufferers of psoriasis and arthritis. However, pharmaceutical companies generally use a mixture of capsaicinoids to formulate their creams for topical use. This application note describes a method of shortening the run time of the capsaicin analysis, while preserving the resolution between components.
