Our 14 HTG volunteers went to Qi Bao Ming Qiang Primary School, which is a famous school with a history of hundreds of years, to launch the HTG Symbolic CSR activity named “MengMo Environmental Protection Classroom” with about 80 third year pupils on Dec.27th 2012.
This activity aims to popularize environmental protection knowledge among the pupils, to improve their environmental awareness, to culture the idea of “environmental protection, starting from me”.
In order to cause the kids' interest in the activities, we have made a picture album----“An earth which can sing”, using the environmental ambassador character MengMo in traditional Chinese culture. By our volunteers’ acting, we made the pupils’ extracurricular activities much more interesting so as to inspire their environmental awareness.
