TOKYO, Japan, October 11, 2016 – Hitachi High Technologies Corporation (TOKYO: 8036; Hitachi High-Tech) announced today that its wholly owned subsidiary Hitachi High-Technologies Europe GmbH (Hitachi High-Tech Europe) concluded an agreement on October 7, 2016 under which Hitachi High-Tech Europe is to acquire all of the issued shares of Spectral Solutions AB (Lidingö, Sweden; Spectral Solutions), a distributor in the Nordic region for scientific system products of Hitachi High-Tech Europe, from Skraken Förvaltning AB (Lidingö, Sweden) on April 3, 2017.
