Designing Optical Testing Devices

We develop lasers and sensors to assess whether there are any defects in the wafers, which are materials used in semiconductors. A laser illuminates the wafer and detectors pick up the fragmented light from any abnormalities or defects. The defects are then identified using image processing so that the cause can be dealt with.
