The scanning electron microscopes SU3800 and SU3900 can be used at a wide range of lithium-ion battery production sites for acceptance inspection and process contamination analysis. They enable versatile analysis, including evaluation of the surface micromorphology of particles, analysis of 3D morphology, and EDS compositional analysis. The analysis can also be automated to improve productivity.
SU3800 and SU3900 are equipped with a large multipurpose sample chamber and enable analysis of large samples as well as multi-faceted evaluation of cathode material by using various accessories. They also support large samples of up to 200 mm (SU3800) or 300 mm (SU3900) in diameter, and multiple samples can be analyzed at the same time.
