Hitachi High-Tech's X-ray particle contaminant analyzer EA8000A is an inspection device that quickly detects and identifies 20μm-class microscopic metal foreign matters that may cause problems in lithium-ion rechargeable batteries. Just selecting inspection conditions and starting measurements automatically execute the process from capturing the X-ray transmission image to detecting metallic foreign matters and identifying its elements.
