The Tabletop Electron Microscope was delivered for the "JAIMA Summer Science School" event held on July 22nd by the Japan Analytical Instruments Manufacturers Association (JAIMA).

By giving high school students in the metropolitan area actual experience of operating analytical instruments, this event, which has been held since 2012, aims to deepen the understanding of the analytical instruments and technologies that form the foundation of a variety of companies and also to raise interest in science and technology.

Specifically aimed at junior and senior high school student science clubs and science departments, the participants could deepen their understanding of electron microscopes through the actual observation of electronic components, solar cells and objects that are not usually used in biomimetic technology such as yoghurt lids.
