On September 16^th to 23^rd, the portable Tabletop Electron Microscope(TM3030) was installed in a classroom at Davis High School. At the classroom, pair of students planned comparisons between the Optical Microscope and the TM3030. The students gathered a variety of specimens (organic and inorganic) to observe, carefully nothing the best usages, and limitations, of the SEM and OLM. A science teacher said one of the more memorable moments was how surprised students were that organic/insects had such detailed structures when magnified while most inorganic substances lacked this. In all, approximately 170 students were able to have quality, hand-on time with the TM3030.
