Hitachi High-Tech

Second Remote class in Moscow

Moomin-Troll School, Moscow
2021/3/16

On March 16, 2021, Hitachi High-Technologies, Rus LLC. held a second remote science class at Moomin-Troll School in Moscow using the TM4000 Tabletop Microscopes.

The class was attended by 22 junior school pupils (aged 10-11). Despite the restrictions on school visitors due to the COVID-19 pandemic, staff working from home in Moscow were able to provide an interactive remote lecture on the body structures of insects. The class ran smoothly thanks to the support and enthusiasm of the school’s teacher who we guided through a hands-on remote control demo of a TM4000 tabletop microscope based in Hitachi High-Tech headquarters in Tokyo.

The class pupils were able to follow on a large projection screen as their teacher examined a variety of samples such as an ant, diatom plankton and egg-shells.

Hitachi High-Technologies, Rus LLC were happy to return to the Moomin-Troll school for another lesson and are looking forward to future online lessons.
