In October 2021 Hitachi High-Tech India held a STEM Education support lesson for school children of the D.A.V Public school Pushpanjali Enclave in New Delhi. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the class was held online with students and teachers connecting from their homes. In total 57 students joined the event, and all were very enthusiastic to learn about the workings of Electron Microscope.

At the beginning of the class, staff of Hitachi High-Tech India delivered a lesson introducing the company and how electron microscopes can be used to see the unseen world of everyday things. Students learned about the process of Biomimetics. This was followed by a demo of a TM4000 Electron Microscope located in Hitachi High-Tech head office in Tokyo, Japan.

The lesson was well-received by the school and the school principle spoke warmly about Hitachi's efforts to bring STEM education to children even under such trying times as we are currently facing.
