The fantastic world suggesting works of Picasso or Matisse was realized by colorization of SEM image. In fact, this is a garbage on a film, which must be thrown away into darkness as a mule trouble; however, a colored SEM image revivified this garbage as nano-art excellently.

Prize winning photo at 49th photo contest hosted by the Japanese Society of Electron Microscopy in 1993.

Magnification : × 50,000

Accelerating voltage : 20 kV
