Development Center
In April 2010, as part of our business process reform, the "Service Design Center" was established as a new function with the task of maintaining and improving the level of our core business, "maintenance services”. The Service Design Center has been working to develop work procedures to provide high-quality, uniform services, operate and develop maintenance optimization systems that propose optimal maintenance for customers, develop systems to support service work processes, and develop service tools and solutions in collaboration with other departments. Since 2010, we have been involved in intellectual property activities, and since 2014, we have been working with Hitachi High-Tech to respond to revisions to the Patent Act, etc. From April 2024, the Service Design Center was renamed the "Development Center", and it has been operating with a more specialized development system.
We will continue to develop service tools and solutions that support our existing service activities, and we will also work to create more effective activities by quantitatively compiling and analyzing their effects.
In addition, we will contribute to maximizing corporate activities by focusing on improving operational efficiency in areas other than service activities, using advanced technologies such as generative AI and RPA* that can be expected to expand the range of future applications and have a positive effect.
