The primary unit of temperature measurement is not celsius

Symbol: K / Base data: temperature, SI base unit
Classified as thermodynamic temperature that sets the equilibrium temperature of water, ice, and vapor (triple point of water) at 273.16K

Called the “absolute temperature”

Celsius is a unit of temperature that uses the properties of water. Not restricted solely to water, the Kelvin temperature sets the temperature of molecules that have completely stopped moving due to heat as the “absolute temperature”. It sets the “triple point of water” (0.01℃) as 273.16K, which is the standard.
