Don’t you often hear words like “centi-“, “milli-“, “kilo-“, and “mega-“that prefix units. These respectively refer to one-hundredth, one-thousandth, 1000-times, and 1,000,000-times. These are called prefixes and are used to express large and small numbers for the same unit.
