As the project leader, how did you feel about making the giant QR code?

I thought that it would be a big job to commemorate the establishment of the Naka-Marine Site. And I also wanted to make it a memorable event for myself.

Did you feel good to work as a HHT employee for the past year?

The flexibility of the working style and conditions was good. Even though the COVID-19 situation was a new experience for everyone, I was able to work without great uneasiness.

What was the greatest difficulty in making the QR code?

Making the specifications design for the QR code. It took some time so it can be read from an aerial photograph.

During the project, you worked from both the office and your home. Did you feel any difference?

We used online tools amongst ourselves. I was even able to use work devices from my home, so I did not feel any differences from working from home.

What was the most enjoyable experience in make the web contents?

When making the web contents, everything was new to me, and it was very worrying. It was a valuable experience to work together with other members to make something good together.

What do you want people to concentrate on when researching about Hitachi High-Tech?

I looked around the Hitachi High-Tech homepage for the making our web contents. I looked at the product introduction pages, and I felt the pride for our technology. My recommendation is High-Tech Channel. Please take a look. High-Tech

Since you participated in the project remotely, did you feel any difference from work from home and at the Naka-Marine Site?

I felt the sense of “unity” differently.
I was able to participate in meetings and take part in discussion remotely. I think this was very beneficial.
But it is also very important to have face to face communication. Through remote working, it is hard to image the expressions of your counterpart, and I might have interpreted things differently than those onsite. I felt that I was able to become closer with the project members when talking with them while drawing the QR code.
