As a Super Science High School (SSH), Nagasaki-Nishi High School has an advanced curriculum in science and mathematics education, actively nurtures human resources in science and technology, and has won many awards in national level competitions. We spoke with two of their instructors who have supported traditional research activities, and with Yukiha Ishibashi, a Grand Award winner at the JSEC 2021 Science and Technology Challenge for high school and technical college students about the role electron microscopes have played in the school's research activities.
