2026 New Year’s Greetings from the President

Yoshimitsu Takagi, President and Chief Executive Officer of Hitachi High-Tech Corporation delivered this New Year’s Message to employees.

New Year’s greetings to everyone.

In 2025, we marked the start of a new chapter in our business growth, as a member of One Hitachi under Inspire 2027, Hitachi Group's new management plan.

Hitachi High-Tech Group established new corporate vision, "Changing the World and Future with the Power of Knowledge," and launched a range of initiatives in our businesses. These include completing construction of the new production facility in Kasado Area and the Naka-Tarazaki Site, expanding our business domains through organizational reform, and strengthening our management foundation in sustainability and globally autonomous regional initiative. I sincerely thank all of you who have demonstrated your "Power of Knowledge" in a rapidly changing business environment, worked tirelessly every day, and sincerely addressed all kinds of challenges.

Last year was also my first year as President, and I visited various locations. When talking to colleagues who are working hard around the world, I realized once again what it is that makes the Hitachi High-Tech Group attractive. Our diverse talent, technological capabilities to create strong products, and our global touch points. Utilizing these features, we are globally active across a wide range of business areas, and we have accumulated a wealth of knowledge and resources within our company. The ability to take on new challenges by leveraging these strengths is an attractive part of our company, and I felt the potential we have for further growth.
By deepening collaboration not only within the company but also within the Hitachi Group, including in the Connective Industries Sector, we can deliver even greater value to our customers. We will promote our business as part of One Hitachi and contribute to realizing a harmonized society where environment, wellbeing, and economic growth are in balance.

Our strength lies in deploying solutions based on our strong products that generate data unavailable elsewhere. We need to leverage this strength and combine it with digital technologies such as AI to create new value. I encourage you to start by expanding your view of what can be achieved with data, and then actively propose and put into practice ideas and insights from the front lines. To that end, let’s improve operational efficiency using generative AI in our daily operations, and aim to improve labor productivity while also enhancing our work-life balance.

Lastly, your health and safety are crucial for productive work. I ask you to stay consistently aware of health and safety, and our adherence to the principles of “Basics and Ethics” and “Ethical Grounds Rather Than Immediate Profitability.” in your daily tasks.
