Hitachi High-Technologies Electron Microscopes business supports again this year's "Highlights of Physics Week" organized by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research, the Deutsche Physikalische Gesellschaft e.V. and the Technical University Dortmund.
The heart of the science festival under the motto "Herzrasen" is an interactive exhibition at the Reinoldi Church. At each of the approximately 40 exhibits, scientists from Dortmund and the entire federal territory are available for questions, explanations and discussions. There are also science shows, live experiments, the Einstein Slam, a junior laboratory, workshops, a student competition and plenty of science to touch and try out.
Admission to all events is free.

The fundamentals and the use of the Scanning Electron Microscopes in the "Physics and Diagnostics" area are explained. Posters showing images of a stent, bacterias, blood cells and the inner ears stereocilia can be seen.
The TM4000 Benchtop Microscope will be used to demonstrate images and chemical analysis from a medical plaster, plant materials and various other everyday use products.
