ISO / IEC17025 accredited Testing Laboratory provide One-Stop-Testing service
Testing Laboratory of Hitachi High-Tech Science, as a testing laboratory having quality system and technical competence compliant with ISO/IEC17025, provide testing service with high reliability. Based on Global Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA), our test result is valid between signatory countries all over the world, enabling one-stop-testing service.
In X-ray fluorescence spectrophotometers, there is a need to ensure that the standard reference material that is used to create the calibration curve is the correct one. Shintomi Branch of Reference Material Testing Laboratory, Hitachi High-Tech Science Corporation, has received certification from JAB (Japan Accreditation Board) in September 2004 for the chemical analysis method called "heavy metal concentration test method in plastics using inductively coupled plasma (ICP) atomic emission spectrophotometry method." As a result, we have made it possible to provide analytical values based on Japan and international mutual authentication of Cd, Pb, and Cr content in plastic (polyvinyl chloride, polyethylene). By providing the standard value to the standard material for X-ray fluorescence spectrophotometers, the laboratory can ensure a reliable standard reference material.

According to ISO 9001, when it is required to ensure valid results, measuring equipment shall be calibrated at specific time intervals or prior to the measurement using measurement standards traceable to national measurement standards. In October 2002, Japan Accreditation Board (JAB) accredited Oyama Branch of Reference Material Testing Laboratory, Hitachi High-Tech Science Corporation, as an accredited testing laboratory and for this reason, we can issue test results which are traceable to national measurement standards. The scope of the accreditation is within the thickness test of JAB’s ferrous and non-ferrous metallic substrates by fluorescence X-ray spectrometric methods based on JIS H 8501.
