With the development of VR and MR technology, I think it will be possible to make it look like the equipment is right in front of you without having to go to the customer's site. It may be possible to minimize downtime by allowing engineers to give lectures next to the equipment as it is being adjusted, or by allowing customers to fix minor problems themselves!
