Kanetsu Branch Office

Location:JA Kyosai Saitama Building 11F, 1-2 Dote-cho, Omiya-ku, Saitama-shi, Saitama

History of the Branch Office

In October 2015, the Kanetsu Branch Office became to be under the Higashinihon Regional Head Office, and the evaluation device optical product business was consolidated at the head office, and at that time provided technical services and maintenance parts for semiconductor instruments, electrical instruments, analytical instruments, medical instruments, and measurement and Industrial instruments delivered within the wide area of the seven prefectures of the Kanto Koshinetsu region.
In July 2019, the Kanetsu Branch Office was relocated from Miyamachi, Omiya-ku, Saitama City to Dote-machi, and by creating an environment that is even more conducive to work for employees, the company was able to revitalize its activities and achieve even greater customer satisfaction.
In March 2021, the Kawagoe Office was closed as part of a review of service areas, and the company consolidated its operations into four bases in Takasaki, Matsumoto, and Niigata, including the Kan-etsu Branch Office, and developed customer-focused services.
In July 2021, the Niigata office was relocated from Onoike in Chuo-ku to Minamisasaguchi in Chuo-ku in order to counter the aging of the building and to reduce the burden of snow removal work on employees. It is now located close to the station, about a 10-minute walk from Niigata Station, and the impact of snowfall has been reduced by the fact that service cars can also use the multi-story car park.

In April 2022, the Tokyo Branch Office evaluation device optical product operations were consolidated into the Kan-etsu Branch Office due to the abolition of the Regional Head Office system, and the Takasaki Service Station was changed to TakasakiOffice.
In April 2024, the service for manufacturing and ECR products of the Process Equipment Department of Tokyo Branch Office and Tohoku Branch Office were consolidated into the Kanetsu Branch Office The company's area of jurisdiction has expanded to include the Kanto Koshinetsu region, Hokkaido in the north, and the Kyushu region in the west, and it is currently continuing its activities to provide technical services and maintenance parts for all six divisions: Process Equipment Dept, ECR equipment, Process Control Systems Electronic and Optical Products Division, Beam Technology Systems, Analytical Instruments, Medical Instruments, Industrial Instruments Division.

Topics

The main events during this period were the relocation of the office and the change in office layout (introduction of a free address system). Taking the opportunity of the relocation of the Niigata Office in July 2021, the office layout of the Takasaki Service Center was changed the following year, and in 2023, the fixtures of the Matsumoto Office were replaced and the office layout of the Kanetsu Branch Office was changed, and all four offices of the Kanetsu Branch Office were completed safely and on schedule without incident over a period of about two years.
The implementation period was scheduled to take place over consecutive holidays to avoid affecting business days, but despite the busyness of daily work, we were able to hold detailed meetings every day and proceed with the project with the cooperation of the people involved at the head office. The most difficult part was dealing with the large number of equipment and documents, but we were able to organize them efficiently within the short timeframe. It was also an event that showed the good side of our employees, who work together as a team and unity of all the branch office employees.

Future Prospects

In April 2022, the abolition of the Regional Head Office system and the transfer of employees resulted in a branch office with more than 50 employees, so a health manager was appointed in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Law. Furthermore, in April 2024, the Process Equipment Sect was consolidated into the Kanetsu Branch Office, and as of July 2024, the branch office had 54 employees, and the entire Kanetsu Branch Office, including the Service Center and Service Station, had 81 employees.
In the future, we will improve our technical level and pass on our technology by integrating a diverse range of employees, including veteran employees, young engineers, and senior staff. Although the area covered is extensive, we will make the most of the convenience of the Kanetsu Branch Office area, the road network and the Shinkansen (Tohoku, Joetsu and Hokuriku) to share information and strengthen our response capabilities, and contribute to the stable operation of equipment and the resolution of customer issues.
