The Hitachi High-Technologies Group’s support for science education is not a set curriculum or program.
Since we loan out our Hitachi Tabletop Microscope TM3030 without restrictions, educators can use the technology in ways that best fit their individual needs.

Our people are helping out in elementary and middle schools

Starting from helping create teaching proposals in accordance with the Ministry of Education, Science and Techology’s curriculum guidelines, Hitachi staff also give original science lessons using Tabletop Microscope in elementary and middle schools.

Facility exhibits/fairs

We provide Tabletop Microscope for exhibits in science museums and science events or fairs.

Working with the Super Science High Schools (SSH)

Super Science High Schools (SSH) regularly use Tabletop Microscope to help enrich their science and mathematical education, helping foster the science and technology experts who will create our future.
These Tabletop Microscope are widely used for teaching materials research, science clubs, and as exhibits for events both in and outside the schools.

We developed a website,www.inspireSTEMeducation.us that provides students and educators with a”virtual visit.”
maintenance of the website is held by all users; contents such as new lesson plans and materials are always evolving and being added.

Support for the 「Nano Mundo」project

Two non-profit organizations, Service of Social Industry(SESI) and National Service of Industrial Learning(SENAI),are operating mobile nanotechnology classrooms called Nanomund[Nano-world]in order to develop the human resources that will support the future of the manufacturing industry.
Hitachi High Technologies America, Inc. has been supported this project, and they provide elementary school and high school students with an opportunity to have real-life experiences of nanoscience.

Support for the nanoTruck project(*)

The nanoTruck project is a trailer containing a variety of small experimental apparatuses and sciencerelated exhibits that visits schools, universities, and other organizations around Germany to demonstrate to the public how nanotechnology relates to their daily lives.
Hitachi High-Technologies Europe GmbH has loan a Tabletop Microscope TM3030 free of charge from 2011 to 2015.

Providing a forum of electron microscope experience

Hitachi High-Technologies Europe GmbH has provided a forum of electron microscope experience using the Tabletop Microscope TM3030. (Dusseldorf Japanese club Sunday scientific classroom in 2013, and Dusseldorf Japanese school Field trip in 2014.)

Donating a Miniscope to Turkish Ministry of Education

Considering the reinforcement of Turkey for higher technical education, Hitachi High-Technologies Europe has donated the tabletop microscope TM3030 to Technical high school (Ostim Mesleki Teknik Anadolu Lisesi) and MOE (Ministry of Education) in 2014.
