Hitachi High-Tech has formulated its new corporate vision, “Changing the World and Future with the Power of Knowledge”, in alignment with the Hitachi Group’s new management plan “Inspire 2027” and as part of its commitment to realizing a “True One Hitachi.”
Hitachi High-Tech will contribute to realization of a harmonized society by creating values with competitive products and utilization of data generated by the capabilities of its frontline function and technology, starting from understanding the genuine issues faced by society and customers.
Overview of the Stated Aims
Hitachi’s Connective Industries Sector, to which Hitachi High-Tech belongs, focuses on “Integrated Industry Automation” - a key pillar of “Inspire 2027” and aims to drive sustainable growth. This approach innovates worksites through evolving vertical integration of mission-critical products, abundant OT domain knowledge and advanced IT leveraging AI, and expands the integration into growing industrial fields by horizontal integration. Toward the realization of this vision, Hitachi High-Tech will create values with competitive products and utilization of data generated by the capabilities of its frontline function and technology, starting from understanding the genuine issues faced by society and customers.
Hitachi High-Tech has the capability of its frontline function to grasp actual situations faced by society and customers and accurately identify their genuine issues, as well as the capability of technology to realize solutions necessary to solve these issues. The company also has world-class products that utilize these capabilities to generate data that does not yet exist in the world, which is necessary to solve genuine issues. By leveraging the collective capabilities of the Hitachi Group, Hitachi High-Tech transforms data generated from mission-critical products into value by HMAX*3 for Industry, which is a specific digital service that combines domain knowledge with advanced AI. This is an initiative that embodies Lumada3.0. The company will contribute to solving the genuine issues faced by society and customers through HMAX for Industry in the growing business domains such as semiconductors, healthcare, advanced materials, and industrial and social infrastructure.

We will further enhance our existing mainstay businesses in nanotechnology (semiconductor field) and healthcare, Core Technology & Solutions by deepening integration with digital capabilities and co-creation with customers.

We will work together to take on the challenge of expanding our business areas, including existing business areas, with a focus on industrial and social infrastructure solutions.

We will continue to work to further strengthen our management foundation, aiming to be a company that contributes to the realization of a sustainable environment and society and remains essential to society.
