A visit and class session was held with three classes of second-year students (90 students total) at Korea's Yulcheon High School.
This class session, devised by Hitachi High-Tech's Korean company, is held in schools around the company's location.
The class involved showing pre-made samples to students for observation and explaining what they were.
Students observed the minute structures of insects like ants and mosquitoes, as well as comparing the structure of an egg shell's outer and inner sides. Their focus was pointed squarely at the electron microscope images on display.
Hitachi High-Tech's Korean company will continue to work on new activities to support science education based on classroom needs.
