On Wednesday, July 12th, a field trip was held at Hitachi High-Tech's headquarters for junior high school students from Tsubasa Classroom, an adaptive guidance classroom in Minato Ward that supports children returning to school.
The students first took a class using an electron microscope with the theme of uncovering the true nature of pieces of paper, and learned about the relationship between familiar products and electron microscopes.
Next, they toured the advanced open working space, cafe area, and remote booth with high sound insulation.
The following comments were made by the students: ``I was happy that all the employees greeted me every time I passed by'' ``I thought the office would be neat and tidy like a staff room, but it was free and spacious'' ``It's rare to get to touch an actual electron microscope.'' I was excited.”
