On Sunday, September 22, Hitachi High-Tech Korea conducted a science education program using an electron microscope at the "Japan-Korea Exchange Festival 2024 in Seoul.
This event is the largest platform in Korea for cultural exchanges between Korea and Japan. It was first launched in Seoul in 2005 to commemorate the 40th anniversary of normalized diplomatic relations between Korea and Japan. This year marks its 20th edition.

More than 110 children participated in the program, where they learned about the differences between electron microscopes, optical microscopes, and magnifying glasses. Through lectures, they explored a world beyond what the naked eye can see, fostering a deeper interest in science.
Additionally, a hands-on session was also held where participants created their own magnifying glasses, providing them with an opportunity to experience the microscopic world firsthand.

Moving forward, Hitachi High-Tech Korea will continue to work alongside other Hitachi Group companies in Korea to provide science education programs for children and engage in social contribution activities, supporting the future development of science and technology.
