On February 26, Hitachi High-Tech Korea hosted a special science class for 22 children from the Pyeongtaek Community Children’s Center at its Pyeongtaek office.

During the class, a tabletop electron microscope was used to help the children explore the microscopic world by observing familiar everyday objects. They received explanations about things invisible to the naked eye and deepened their interest in science by directly interacting with the microscope. In addition, they enjoyed a hands-on activity where they made their own original magnifying glasses, making the observation experience both educational and fun.
The Community Children’s Center commented that “it was a very meaningful experience, and the children were highly satisfied.”

Going forward, Hitachi High-Tech Korea will continue to expand its contribution to the local community through social contribution activities, including science outreach classes.
