Image comparison between Hakushu Cotton and Upland Cotton. Though cotton fibers are easily charged-up, the images were observed without any metal coating. Not only its thickness but also the surface structure can be observed thanks to the mixed signals between SE and BSE. Hakushu Cotton has "thick rounded" fibers while Upland Cotton has "thin and flat" fibers.
