Manufacturing Execution System (MES) is a system for managing manufacturing site operations, supporting the optimization of quality, cost, and delivery (QCD).
Through real-time monitoring of manufacturing processes, data collection, analytics, and execution of production plans, MES solutions improve quality, reduce costs, and ensure adherence to delivery schedules. MES sits between upper-level systems (such as ERP) and lower-level systems (such as PLC and DCS) and fulfills the role of integrating information from manufacturing sites.
