Since its launch of the first Model 400 in 1970, Hitachi has continued the development of technologies to support clinical laboratories. With succession of such technologies, the newly developed measurement technology of "Scattered Light Intensity analysis" provides the advanced Hitachi Automatic Analyzer 3500.
The Hitachi Automatic Analyzer 3500 contains a new technology to simultaneously perform scattered light intensity analysis to measure low-concentration and absorbance analysis to measure a wide range. This expands the range of testing in a single measurement.
Technology that enhances reliability of measurement result and various functions are equipped in a layout designed for easier use. Two measurement technologies will contribute to the efficient work flow and the future of medical care.

Clinical chemistry analyzer
The 3500 inherits the user-friendly design of the 7180 model.
It also introduces a new sampling mechanism that enhances dispensing precision.
As the new standard in automated clinical chemistry analyzer, the 3500 is ready to meet laboratory's needs.
Multi-function automatic analyzer
The 3500 is a multi-function automatic analyzer that can perform clinical chemistry and immunoassays (BNP, etc.), blood coagulation analysis (PT, APTT, Fbg), HbA1c, and ISE.
The 3500 will support not only nighttime and weekend operation, but also emergency testing.
Expanding future
Scattered light intensity photometer enables to measure low-concentration ranges with higher sensitivity, ensuring highly reliable test results.
In addition, the 3500 can measure conventional absorbance photometry and scattered-light photometry together, covering wide analytical range.
Abscatter® , a combination of Absorbance and Scattering, will expand a future of laboratory testing.
