A full moon (is coming out) from behind the mountain?
This was observed by heating a gilt up to some 1,000°C with the direct-heating type hot stage. It is supposed that the heated gold surface was liquefied and took ball-shaped with surface tension.

Prize winning photo at 50th photo contest hosted by the Japanese Society of Electron Microscopy in 1994.
