Small park where trees of micro were planted. The trees are microalgae that are called Chromophyton rosanoffii. This microscopic algae has the feature to float on the surface of the water.
We succeeded to take a picture of Chromophyton rosanoffii that floated on the surface of the liquid by the scanning electron microscopy by the using of the ionic liquid that maintains the liquid in the high vacuum situation.

1st Prize. At 67th photo contest hosted by the Japanese Society of Microscopy in 2011.
