Hitachi High-Technologies Corporation (TOKYO: 8036, Hitachi High-Tech) has established the Tokyo Solution Laboratory (Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture) for the purposes of enhancing customer convenience and efficiency, as well as strengthening global collaboration with universities and research institutes, in the field of scientific instrument-related products.
Previously, Hitachi High-Tech provided product demonstrations, equipment operation training and other services for customers in the field of scientific instrument-related products, such as electron microscopes and analytical instruments, at the Science Laboratory of the Global Application Center (Hitachinaka City, Ibaraki Prefecture). This facility is adjacent to Hitachi High-Tech's design and development site.
Hitachi High-Tech has transferred the demonstration and equipment operation training functions for core products to the newly established Tokyo Solution Laboratory. This measure will enable the Company to increase convenience for customers visiting the laboratory, and to raise the efficiency of demonstrations. Furthermore, Hitachi High-Tech aims to enhance its global presence by deepening collaboration with universities and research institutes worldwide, in addition to those in Japan, and by improving the Company's ability to respond to joint research projects and presentations at meetings of academic societies.
Moreover, Hitachi High-Tech is considering installing clinical analyzers that boast a world-class track record and biotechnology products at the Tokyo Solution Laboratory. Through such measures, Hitachi High-Tech aims to develop the facility into a comprehensive solution laboratory in the field of science & medical systems going forward.
With the establishment of the Tokyo Solution Laboratory, Hitachi High-Tech aims to further enhance customer satisfaction and expand business as a leading company in the field of science & medical systems.
